Abstract

Intellectual property law is a special branch of law, to which the development of the Internet has imposed the need for a specific approach to solving the problem of protecting subjective rights over intellectual work. In other words, the nature of intellectual property law is to provide a legal framework for the production of the human mind, which technological products certainly are. The development of copyright has occurred almost in parallel with the emergence of new technologies. Copyright has suffered great damage due to the emergence of new technologies. The emergence of the Internet undoubtedly requires a reassessment of the basic concepts of copyright and, in general, intellectual property. The ease with which a third party's copyright work can be used without authorization today or someone's related right has called into question the viability of the current protection system. The ease with which a third party's copyright can be used without authorization or someone's related right can be infringed has called into question the sustainability of the current protection system. The acceleration of the flow of information caused by Facebook, Google and others has meanwhile placed the European institutional framework - especially the intellectual property rights system - in a rapidly and continuously changing and challenging environment, as evidenced by the adoption of the Copyright Directive in the Digital Single Market and the Digital Services Regulation in the EU.
